R. J. Corman Announces Jake Weir Has Joined As Senior Director, Industrial Development

NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. –– R.J. Corman has announced the addition of Jake Weir to their Industrial Development department.

Jake Weir has joined R. J. Corman Railroad Company as its new Senior Director, Industrial Development. Weir brings over 15 years of experience in industrial development within a Class I railroad environment, serving for over 18 years at Norfolk Southern. 

In his new role at the company, Weir will lead rail development efforts for businesses wanting to build or expand on R. J. Corman’s rail network.

Weir holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering technology from Southern Polytechnic State University, [which is now the Southern Polytechnic College of Engineering and Engineering Technology at Kennesaw State University, just outside of Atlanta.]

Weir’s expertise will be crucial in maintaining the company’s competitive position in the industry and promoting economic development in the communities R. J. Corman serves.
