DALLAS – Over the weekends of June 28th to July 1st and July 12th to 15th, crews will perform maintenance on DART Rail’s catenary.
In a release from DART, a contingency work date of July 19th to 22nd is in place if more repairs are necessary. During the work, one track will be open between 9 p.m. on June 28th and 3 a.m. on July 1st. This will repeat July 12th to 15th. This repair work is in 54-hour shifts. A single train will operate in both directions and serve all stations between Pearl/Arts District and West End.
While crews are re-tensioning, DART reports it will have three shuttle bus routes to replace rail. More detailed information on this alternative mode of transportation and which stations are served can be found here.
